Historic Tours at The Chase Park Plaza
ST. LOUIS – Journey back in time from the early days of The Chase Park Plaza this sring in a 90-minute historic hotel tour.
Over the past 97 years, The Chase has welcomed a variety of A-list celebrities and political VIPs, from Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Sophie Tucker, and Elvis Presley.
Tours take place on select Saturdays, from 10:30am to noon.

Cost: $50 per ticket; includes hotel tour, brunch at Chase Club, and complimentary self-parking.
Our Concierge team leads a 90-minute tour, complete with stories from legendary entertainers and headlining events, to walk-throughs of the Starlight Ballroom, Khorassan Ballroom and more. Learn about the structure, from its early beginnings to its evolution as a registered landmark in St. Louis, and discover who coined the phrase “The Chase is the Place.” Reservations are required. Space is limited.
Jeanne Venn, Chef Concierge: A native of St. Louis, Jeanne began her career in radio. In 1979, she joined The Chase where she was trained in various areas of the hotel, from front desk and human resources, to sales and manager on duty, before landing the title as Concierge. Since 1986, Jeanne has been a member of Les Clefs d’Or, the only international association of professional hotel concierges.
Carrie Pritchard, Concierge: Starting in the hotel business straight out of school, Carrie has continued a career in customer service and happily joined The Chase family as a Concierge in 2009. Carrie enjoys extolling the many benefits that the city, and hotel, have to offer.
